Distrontium lithium beryllium triborate, Sr2LiBeB3O8
Single crystals of distrontium lithium beryllium triborate, Sr(2)LiBeB(3)O(8), were obtained by spontaneous nucleation from a high-temperature melt. In the Sr(2)Li[BeB(3)O(8)] structure, [BeB(2)O(7)](6-) rings, made up from one BeO(4) tetra-hedron and two BO(3) triangles, are connected to each other by [BO(3)] triangles to form the smallest repeat unit {[BeB(3)O(8)](8-)} and then form chains al...
متن کاملThe hydrothermal synthesis and X-ray crystal structure of Ag (1)-4, 4"-bipyridine-based coordination polymer
Hydrothermal synthetic were studied for the preparation of coordination polymeric material basedon Ag (I) and 4, 4"-bipy. A polymeric compound [Ag (4, 4'-bipy)].NO3. (I), was prepared andstructurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1(91% yield) was isolatedfrom the reaction of AgNO3 with 4, 41bipy in 2:1 molar ratio. In compound I. each silver (I) islinked to two nit...

Figure 2. Raman spectra of Mg(BH(D)4)2 (in red) and LiBH(D)4 (in blue). Upper curves: deuteride, lower curves: hydride. The asterisk indicates a band resulting from residual diethyl-ether. Figure 5. Structure of Mg(BH4)2 viewed along the hexagonal b axis, showing two unit cells. Red (partially transparent) tetrahedra are BH4units; Mg atoms in blue. Considering the cations as A and the tetrahedr...
متن کاملCrystal structure of the new FeSe(1-x) superconductor.
The newly discovered superconductor FeSe(1-x) (x approximately 0.08, T(c)(onset) approximately 13.5 K at ambient pressure rising to 27 K at 1.48 GPa) exhibits a structural phase transition from tetragonal to orthorhombic below 70 K at ambient pressure-the crystal structure in the superconducting state shows remarkable similarities to that of the REFeAsO(1-x)F(x) (RE = rare earth) superconductors.
متن کاملX-Ray, Crystal Structure and Solution Phase Studies of a Polymeric SrII Compound
In the crystal structure of the title polymeric compound, [C42H38N6O33Sr5.2(H2O)]n, five independent metal atoms (Sr1-Sr5) have different coordination environments. The Sr1 and Sr5 atoms are nine coordinated and feature distorted tricapped trigonal-prismatic and capped square-antiprismatic geometries, respectively....
